     *  How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth Study.
    Understanding the Bible isn't for the few, the gifted, the scholarly.  The Bible is accessible.  it's meant to be read and comprehended by everyone from armchair readers to seminary students.  A few essential insights into the Bible can clear up a lot of misconceptions and help you grasp the meaning of Scripture and its application to your 21-century life.

    Tollie Corder is leading this class on how to study and read scriptures.  It is based on the book, How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth, by Gordon Fee.  Books are available through Amazon if you want to purchase one but they are not required for attending this class.  The study begins at 9:00 am at Christ Covenant.

    * Live Justly Study.
    This is a 6-week study that begins on March 1 at the Trammell's home beginning at 6:30 pm.  We will examine the call of Micah 6:8 to live justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God.  The study will examine advocacy, prayer, generosity, creation care, consumption, and relationships in determining a Biblical approach to systems of injustice in our communities and around the globe.

    The study is facilitated by Kerri Beard.  See Kerri for more information or if you need directions, see Janice & David.

    Our Special Quarterly Offering for Tanglewood Christian Camp was held on March 1st.  This was to bless a place that has been blessing lives in this congregation for decades.  Tanglewood Christian Camp is located just outside Lexington, Texas and is completely supported through the teamwork of approximately 30 Church of Christ and Independent Christian churches in the state of Texas.  This camp provides summer events for children and youth as well as men's, women's, and youth retreats throughout the year.  The total amount collected last Sunday was $1,274.00!
